The Care And Resource Centre

The Care and Resource Centre (CARC) was established in 2010 to provide a stable, long term home for children previously at risk.

These young people had no immediate family or carers. They needed a ‘safe place’ to live after family tragedies had left them without food, shelter and care.

This beautiful family photo was taken during their family retreat in the province of Rizal. From the left to right: the house parents Will & Lyneth, then the children: Danica, Demirose, Haide, Omar & Romel (RJ).

  • Danica has graduated in BS Psychology course last Dec 2021.
  • Demirose is grade 10 and is Danica’s younger sister.
  • Haide is doing her internship in Business Administration.
  • Omar serves as my assistant in CARC and a teacher in Bright Lights.
  • Romel (RJ) is now fourth year in B.S. Marine Transportation.

About The CARC Family

Will and Lyneth are both involved with teaching at Bright Lights and Will is the coordinator of CARC. They currently have five young people in their care at the centre.

Will recently said,

“We want to see our children in CARC enjoying the life with proper care through godly counsel, honest affirmation, healthy relationships & proper education…We dream that our presence & guidance will lead everyone in the family achieve their God-given dreams because they are properly equipped with helpful skills to help others as a response to the Lord’s goodness, they have experienced in CARC.”
